Chien Ching-fen realizes that her life has become a dull routine because she can’t find another goal. The goals she set for herself — a house, a car, a son, and a good husband — have been achieved after enduring endless suffering. What will her next goal be? As she ponders this, Chien Ching-fen laughs because she recognizes that, to experience a fleeting moment of happiness upon achieving our goals, we subject ourselves to suffering repeatedly. Could it be that we’ve misunderstood ourselves? We want to be happy, but perhaps we genuinely cherish the suffering. Chien Ching-fen realizes she must seek out more suffering for her next source of happiness. As a result, she recalls her love rival, Rebecca, whom she defeated. How is Rebecca doing now? Does she lead an exciting life? Does my husband still love her? As expected, she is suffering. But does this suffering genuinely lead to happiness?

In this program, pairing the new-generation actors TSENG Ching-hua and Berant ZHU, they travel around Taiwan in their van, the Erdai, and must complete eight major coming-of-age tests. These tests range from stepping out of their comfort zones to swimming to an uninhabited island off Lanyu, gaining a sense of responsibility by earning their room and board on Matsu, and carrying heavy loads as they join Bunun tribe members on a search for their roots. As the two young men reach age 25 during their journey, they face tests of strength and endurance, challenges to their values, and inner struggles. Simultaneously, they strive to uncover the secret of adulthood. Can these two clueless youths conquer their daunting challenges and successfully transform themselves into adults?

Rookie lawyer Chen Boyun made a promise at an early age that she will work hard in achieving social justice, and not to drop any opportunities to advocate for justice. This story begins in 1943, and has the 228 Incident and "Land-to-the-Tiller" policy as its historical backdrop.

In this anthology series, each individual episode explores varying meanings of marriage from five unique perspectives.

At age 12, in the twilight of the Chinese Civil War, GAO Bing-han followed the Nationalist government in their exodus to Taiwan under his mother’s orders. Now, in his 80s and a lawyer, GAO encounters three mothers in his work. The first is HONG, who tolerates her son’s violence. The second is JIANG, an indigenous woman who isn’t accepted by her father-in-law. And the last one is XIE, who seems elegant on the surface but is greatly depressed due to her family problems. In the midst of dealing with the conflicts of these three, GAO can’t help but sigh: “Did the war really end?”

JIANG has just begun his career as an after-school tutor. He has a great sense of humor in teaching but suffers from intimacy issues due to the influence of his parents who endure lifelong mental illnesses. Failing to obtain commitment, JIANG’s girlfriend Lan decides to run away from JIANG and works as an elementary school teacher in a remote village. In order to reconnect with Lan, JIANG applies for an internship at a school there as well. Eventually, JIANG not only rekindles the spark with Lan, his passion for education is also reignited. However, he still has his own problems that need to be overcome: Will JIANG suffer from mental illness just like his parents? Does he still have the ability to love?

Our story begins with Junior Detective LIN, who has just been put in charge of a case that appears to be a suicide. Most curiously, the crime scene has many features in common with a scene from a Sherlock Holmes novel. Detective Lin quickly discovers that it is a murder case. Meanwhile, a group of young sleuths supports their detective club president GAO’s dream to win a writing contest. The three club members, psychologist ZHONG, social worker WEN, and pharmacist ZHANG, each harbor a hidden secret. GAO could never have expected that he would become implicated as the killer in an actual murder case! As Detective LIN delves deeper into his case, a series of seemingly unrelated events all end up pointing towards the club members.

To run away from the dark past, Dr. Liu works at a countryside hospital. She assumes the job would be nice and easy there, but instead she witnesses and deals with various bizarre medical cases.

Adapted from the historical facts of Taiwan. On March 12, 1867, the American merchant ship – Rover was shipwrecked at the southern end of Taiwan’s Hengchun Peninsula. While “The Rover Incident” broke out, Tiap-moe was 18 years old. She was proficient in multiple languages, so she helped American Consul Charles Le Gendre with his investigation. During the investigation, she were forced to involve in a complex ethnic struggle. Facing the questioning and bullying associated with her ethnic groups, gender and bloodline, was Tiap-moe brave enough to help the Westerners, the Seqalus, the Hokkiens and Hakkas, even herself, to reach a state of peace and understanding?
