Based on the original version of same name created by Cris Morena, the series tells the story of a group of orphans living in a manor, known as Raio de Luz, struggling and being guided by a young woman, Carol, that assumes a maternal figure for them. It was written and adapted by James Santiago, inspired by the work Sesso hormone Vincent in collaboration with Renata Dias Gomes and Miguel Paiva and the direction of the soap operas General Del Rangel. He told Carla Marins, Cláudio Lins, Betty Faria, Mônica Carvalho, Isadora Ribeiro, Edney Giovenazzi, Toni Garrido, Patrícia de Jesus, Carlo Briani and Marina Stacciarini in leading roles.

Popstars was a Brazilian reality television series based on the Popstars international series. In Brazil, Popstars was produced by RGB and broadcast on the Brazilian Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão channel. A Escolinha do Golias was a Brazilian television program presented and produced by SBT between 1990 and 1997. Returned to be displayed by SBT in 2007, in the schedule of the El Chavo.
