The Talent Show Story is a British television documentary series about the history of British television talent shows. The series comprises five episodes and was broadcast on ITV from 7 January to 4 February 2012. It is narrated by Victoria Wood. It was co-produced by Shiver Productions and Thames.

Persuasion is a 2007 British television film adaptation of Jane Austen's eponymous novel. It was directed by Adrian Shergold and the screenplay was written by Simon Burke. Sally Hawkins stars as the protagonist Anne Elliot, while Rupert Penry-Jones plays Frederick Wentworth. Eight years prior to the film's beginning, Anne was persuaded to reject Wentworth's proposal of marriage. Now 27 and unmarried, Anne re-encounters Wentworth, who has made his fortune in the Napoleonic Wars and is looking for a wife – anyone but Anne, whom he has not forgiven for rejecting him all those years ago. Persuasion was one of three novels adapted for ITV's Jane Austen season. It was the first of the three adaptations to begin development. The drama was co-produced by Clerkenwell Films and American studio WGBH Boston. Persuasion premiered on 1 April 2007 in the United Kingdom and was watched by 5.4 million viewers. Persuasion received mixed reviews from television critics.

I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story was a one-off television special, starring Scottish singer Susan Boyle, produced for ITV, that aired on 13 December 2009 in the United Kingdom, reflecting the success that Susan Boyle has had since appearing on UK talent show Britain's Got Talent and since her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, became the fastest selling debut album of all time. The show was presented by fellow Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan. Boyle performing songs from her debut album, I Dreamed a Dream, including "Wild Horses", "I Dreamed a Dream" and "Cry Me a River".

Nightwatch with Steve Scott was a weekday late-night documentary series on ITV, first broadcast on 8 January 2008. The series was presented by ITV News journalist Steve Scott and was produced by ITV Central. Nightwatch featured various regional ITV programmes focusing on crime and emergency services. The series aired on ITV on various nights, anytime between midnight and 0300. The show was also repeated on ITV-owned digital channel Men & Motors. Nowadays, Nightwatch with Steve Scott is seldom shown on the ITV network but can be seen occasionally on ITV Channel Television. The series is presented from a regional news studio at ITV Central's studios in Gas Street, Birmingham.

Made in Britain is a 1983 British television play written by David Leland, and directed by Alan Clarke, about a 16-year-old racist skinhead named Trevor, and his constant confrontations with authority figures. It was originally broadcast on ITV on 10 July 1983 as the fourth in an untitled series of works by Leland, all loosely based around the British educational system, which subsequently acquired the overall title of Tales Out of School. As with many Alan Clarke works, the director attempts to depict English working-class life, realistically without moralising or complex plots. The play features strong language, violence, racism and an anti-establishment feeling. Cinematographer Chris Menges's use of the Steadicam contributed to the fluid and gritty atmosphere of the play.

Dare To Believe is a surreal TV sketch show that was shown on ITV in the UK. The programme was shown during the early hours of the mornings, and ran for 2 series between 2002 and 2004, each with thirteen 30 minute episodes. The show gained a cult following amongst students and insomniacs. It largely consisted of dada-inspired comedy sketches, interspersed with periods of hypnotic visuals. During these hypnotic visuals, its much-used catchphrase was often recited: "Fly like a mouse, run like a cushion, be the small bookcase". It was written and directed by Tim de Jongh, who also acted in the show. Tim Firth and Michael Marshall Smith who both co-wrote some of the material were better known for their work on the BBC Radio 4 show, And Now, In Colour. Tim Scott won a BAFTA in 2003 for co-writing and directing the children's show Ripley and Scuff. Dare To Believe was commissioned and then re-commissioned by David Liddament. The show was abandoned upon Liddament's exit from ITV. The show notably contained voice-over work and appearances by the late Patrick Allen.
