Since the female duo that directs Avaton is unable to visit the peninsula, they decide to reconstruct Athos by using material filmed anywhere but there, animations and reworked archival material.

The rare film material discovered in the basement of the well-known photographer Takis Tloupas in Larissa, was a real treasure. This gave the director the motive to look for the man and his work.
